Neltah is a name of a big dream – a dream of making a difference. We are an organisation based in the UK. It started with the intention to give someone a bit confidence, to make someone smile, something which can bring a change to their life. We want to aid the artisans we buy from: In the streets of Bangladesh we found locals faring quality goods that they were not able to sell for what the products worth was because of poverty and their limited sources. Luckily with the mindset of Neltah we saw the potential in their hard work and bought the quality products off them for their true value. This was the first time we saw our vision come true for Neltah as the happiness on their face was pure, all the hard work they did all we had to do was show the value of their work. Few artisans have the opportunity to make a better and sustainable way of living, we believe in supporting local ethical products, so we operate a strict fair-trade policy: proper reward for quality items. Neltahs’ journey is to look for the less fortunate ones who are struggling to provide for their family and make a positive difference to their home, at the same time bringing those unique handpicked craft in the UK to give the opportunity to introduce the authentic product from Far East. To further our dream to help, Neltah will also donate a small portion of Neltah’s profit to a local children charity in the UK.
Two people put their thoughts and ideas together into one dream – Tahsin Reza who is a reciter, also a poet and artist from Bangladesh and Salma Sultana who works for a renowned volunteer organization in the UK started their joint venture in 2019 that was the start of Neltah.
